TECO ENERGY
Replacing existing windows with energy-efficient windows will help to reduce solar heat gain. To qualify for a rebate of $0.76 per square foot*, windows must be installed within conditioned space and be labeled by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) to have a minimum Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) less than or equal to .35, and a U-factor less than or equal to .60.
DUKE ENERGY
After receiving replacement recommendations from the required Home Energy Check, schedule an appointment with a licensed and insured window replacement contractor and they can make any recommended replacements. Duke Energy offers a rebate of $2 per square foot of window area (up to $400) on east-, west- and south-facing windows. Terms and conditions apply.
ENERGY EFFICIENT HOME IMPROVEMENT CREDIT
If you make qualified energy-efficient improvements to your home after Jan. 1, 2023, you may qualify for a tax credit up to $3,200. You can claim the credit for improvements made through 2032.

MY SAFE FLORIDA HOME
You may be eligible to apply for a Matching grant where for every $1 you provide, the state will provide $2 toward the actual cost of an authorized mitigation project (or 2/3s of the project cost up to $10,000). Beginning July 1, 2024, the My Safe Florida Home Program is allowing homeowners to choose any Certified Florida State contractor to make reimbursable upgrades to their homes.
PINELLAS PARK CRA HOME IMPROVEMENT GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
The City of Pinellas Park offers a CRA Home Improvement Grant Program to assist qualifying Pinellas Park homeowners with financial assistance for home improvements needed at their primary residence. Sliding scale funding opportunities are based on the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) 2023 Area Median Income (AMI) levels for the Tampa Bay area.
